What Is Inner Chen?

Inner Chen is the inner well that lives within each and everyone of us, it’s the inner perpetual source of nourishment, unconditional love, prosperity, gratitude, wisdom, life force energy, self-replenishment, self-sustenance, abundance, filtration and wellness that is waiting to be rediscovered and consciously expressed here on earth in our everyday lives ⥉

From Sisbichen

ꆛ

⥉ SISBICHEN literally translates as “sisbic” - “vanilla flower” and “chen” - “water well”. It is a Mayan community of over 2000 wonderful people located in the heart of Yucatan. It was isolated until very recent years once they opened themselves to other towns like Valladolid and Chemax. Deeply rooted in tradition, most grandparents do not speak Spanish, and only speak the Mayan language ⥉

⥉ Agustin and Marta were born and raised here. They learnt the ancestral ways of healing from their elders at a young age as well as studied closely with a Hindu master in their adult years. Now they have their own wellness sanctuary on Sisbichen land. The closest hospital is about 2 hours from Sisbichen and there aren’t many cars available. Agustin and Marta provide holistic sessions locally to everyone who asks, they also travel to very small towns to take care of the elderly and those in need. They make their own Sobada maya (unique Mayan body work) herbs and oils and with the power of limpias (cleansings) and their special healing techniques they give essential help to people around, creating more wellness throughout the Mayan communities and beyond ⥉

⥉ Doña Guadalupe is a grandmother that is helping single Mayan mothers to have economic independence by teaching them how to weave hammocks. She is very passionate about her calling and requires support to continue her purpose in the community. Her home and some other areas in Sisbichen do not have easy access to clean water in the houses. People have to walk long ways to fetch fresh water for basic needs. This is affecting the opportunities to go to school, have good hygiene daily and more ⥉

From Casa Manantial

⥉ Word “Manantial” translates as “Natural Spring”. Here at Casa Manantial we feel that we are all part of the same, we are all connected on so many levels, we are all a part of one source so we help whoever we can on our path. We know that by helping others we help ourselves. We have now been collaborating with Agustin and Marta for over 3 years. Casa Manantial is giving us a space to provide for locals and visitors in Tulum an opportunity to meet Agustin and Marta in person and share deeply healing time with them in an intimate setting. Agustin and Marta get to share their wisdom with more people, cultures, and continue to fulfill their life’s purpose through their work ⥉

⥉ We have been visiting Sisbichen village on a regular basis for over 2 years now providing support, essential supplies, giving unconditional love and bringing joy to the community. And the Mayans have been giving so much to us: an opportunity to share time together, gain wisdom, discover deeper compassion and understanding, create genuine connection and more. It’s a two way relationship. Sisbichen is here to remind us about our Inner Chen that we are to nourish from inside everyday ⥉

⥉ The goal of our collaboration with Gurumay’s EVO.BODÍ: Rediscovering Inner Chen™ Field Lab is to create perpetual “Chen” in Sisbichen village. Our next visit there is on July 31st 2022, which is 2 days after the event. 100% of the contributions generated from EVO.BODÍ: Rediscovering Inner Chen™ Field Lab is going towards building of a water well and an installation of a sufficient pump that will be able to deliver fresh water to homes in the community ⥉

⥉ We are also going to continue to collaborate with the leaders of the village to provide education about hygiene, pregnancy, sexual education, economic empowerment and more. The leaders will continue to plant the seeds of wisdom and wellness within the community so all that is good can grow, blossom and expand from within ⥉
